- What is YoImpact?
YoImpact is an online community of respondents who give valuable market insight to entrepreneurs and businesses. Once you register as a user, you can earn money by completing online surveys.
- How does YoImpact work?
Once you sign up and complete your profile, you will be invited to take part in surveys regularly, depending on the information you provided us with.
- How do I sign up?
Click ‘Register’ on the top right of our website. Simply fill in your E-mail, Name, Gender and Country. Be sure to activate your account by clicking on the link we send to your e-mail inbox.
Once your account is activated, you have the option of completing your Profile Questionnaire by giving us some personal details about yourself.
- What is a Profile Questionnaire?
This is where you give us some details about yourself. Once you successfully activate your account, you’ll be automatically re-directed here. Alternatively, you can find it on ‘My Account > Profile Questionnaire’.
- Why do I need to fill a Profile Questionnaire?
We need some information about you for statistical purposes. We like to make sure that our surveys achieve the best results and meet the highest statistical standards – and for this, we tailor them to be taken by particular demographics depending on the market research goals.
If you complete the Profile Questionnaire, you are more likely to get more invitations to take part in different surveys.
- How safe is the personal information I give?
YoImpact cares about your privacy. We are committed to making sure that your personal information remains strictly confidential. We will never tamper with, or disclose your personal information to any third party without your prior consent.
- After completing my profile, is it possible to edit it?
Yes, it is. Just select ‘My Account > Edit Profile’ to make any changes, updates or corrections to your existing profile.
- Are my responses anonymous?
We don’t track any identifying information and so your responses will be 100% anonymous. Your responses will be combined with those of many other panel members and summarized into a report to further protect your anonymity.
- How do I earn money?
You will be paid depending on how much time is used to complete the questionnaire. When you get invited to participate in a survey, you will be informed of how long it will take to complete it – and how much money will be earned by taking it.
Remember that you also get a $2 bonus just by registering!
- How will I know I have been invited to take part in a survey?
Most times, you will receive an e-mail from us letting you know that you have been invited to participate in a certain survey. Please make sure that you add ‘hello@yoimpact’ to your contacts so that you are able to receive our messages.
- Is there any other way to know about ongoing surveys?
Yes! You can always log into your YoImpact account and select ‘My Account > Open Surveys’ – these are the available ongoing surveys which you can take part in.
- How often will I be invited to take part in surveys?
Typically, you can participate in several surveys a year.
- How long does it take to complete a survey?
On average, it takes about 10 minutes to complete a survey.
- Can I choose what kind of survey I participate in?
Yes. Select ‘My Account > Topic Interests’ to filter your interests/topic areas.
- Can I participate in more than one survey?
Yes, you can. It is possible to get invited to participate in a number of surveys. However, you cannot take the same survey twice.
- Can I see what surveys I have previously participated in?
Yes, you can. Just select ‘My Account > Account History’ to see what surveys you have been a part of.
- When do I receive the money I’ve earned?
Once your YoImpact account reaches $15, you can request to receive your money.
- How do I receive the money I’ve earned?
You request to receive your money by selecting ‘My Account > Withdraw Rewards’. You will then be able to receive your money using mobile/online money platforms such as MPesa, Airtel Money, yuCash, Orange Money, PayPal etc.
Keep track of how much money you’ve made (or has been paid to you) by selecting ‘My Account > My Transactions’.
- What currency do I receive my payments in?
Your payments will be in the currency of the country you are currently located in.
